In addition to the two Kristianstad teams, 12 other teams played in Senior Förening Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Kristianstad HK 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Kristianstad 1, H43 Lund HF, Eslövs IK, Vinslövs HK 1, Kävlinge HK 1 and Uppsala HK.
Kristianstad HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK 2 with 10-11. In the Final, Kävlinge HK 1 won over Kävlinge HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Senior Förening Damer. Kristianstad HK also participated in Elit Dam during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
