HP Warta was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to HP Warta, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof HP Warta could be found in Group 2 together with Kungarna av Tylösand, Party, Stolpskottet, Heradsbygda Håndballklubb, Electric Banana Band, A-laget and Pen IS. HP Warta continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Botulfsplatsens BK with 7-10. In the Final, HK Spräng won over Kungarna av Tylösand and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. HP Warta comes from Göteborg which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
