Grönbete was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Grönbete could be found in Group 9 together with Daddy Cool, IF Metall MittSkåne, Cobran and BTHB. Grönbete continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Talangerna with 6-8. In the Final, Räddningstjänsten Syd won over Svärmorsdrömmarna and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Grönbete comes from Sjöbo which lies approximately 51 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
