AVATARS was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Damer.

In addition to AVATARS, 19 other teams played in Motionsklass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof AVATARS could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Kristianstad Ladies 2, Eslövs Bästa, Team Gladpack and Halmstad Handboll Tant 2.

AVATARS continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Always Ultra with 9-16. In the Final, Always Ultra won over Ex on the Beach and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Damer.

AVATARS comes from Löddeköpinge which lies approximately 84 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Löddeköpinge does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Among others: Mmm Tacos, Enter Sandman, Lugi HF, Vakant, Sparbanken Skåne, Eslövs IK, IFK Malmö HF, H43 Lund HF, Eslövs HF and Dösjöbro IF).
