Mats was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

In addition to Mats, 58 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Mats could be found in Group 4 together with Gubbalaget, Sommarpågarna, Lödde Vikings HK LVHK HF and Stiffes Änglar.

Mats continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Stentorsken with 6-9. In the Final, H-town won over Daddy Cool and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar.

Mats comes from Hörby which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Hörby does also provide 77 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: Kristianstad HK, IFK Kristianstad, Höörs HK H 65, IK Lågan Hörby, Vinslövs HK, Veberöds HK, Eslövs IK, Eslövs HF, IFK Kristianstad Ladies and IFK Kristianstad Gentlemen).
