In addition to VästeråsIrsta HF, 79 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof VästeråsIrsta HF could be found in Group 4 together with IK Bolton, Ronneby HK 2, Uppsala HK 4, H43 Lund HF 1, Ystads IF HF 3, Alingsås HK 1, HF Limhamn Svart, Halmstad Handboll 2 and Kävlinge HK 3.

VästeråsIrsta HF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna Guif IF with 4-6. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 2 won over Åhus Handboll 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

VästeråsIrsta HF also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK 2 with 10-11.
