In addition to the three IFK Bankeryd teams, 76 other teams from 3 different countries played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd 1 could be found in Group 7 together with Höörs HK H 65 1, IFK Malmö HF, Haninge HK 1, Huddinge HK 3, Skå IK o Bygdegård 1, Lödde Vikings HK 3, Särökometernas HK Röd and Kristianstad HK 2.

IFK Bankeryd 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK F06 blå with 10-15. In the Final, Haninge HK 2 won over Vinslövs HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Flickor 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Kristianstad HK 1 with 3-4.
