In addition to IFK Bankeryd, 61 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd could be found in Group 7 together with Lugi HF 2, Borlänge HK 4, Uppsala HK, Kärra HF 1, Tyresö Handboll 2, Kristianstad HK 2, Staffanstorps HK and Hammarby IF HF Gröna.

IFK Bankeryd continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF HF Gröna with 11-13. In the Final, Borlänge HK 3 won over Kristianstad HK 3 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 3 with 11-14.
