In addition to the two Aranäs teams, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof HK Aranäs 1 could be found in Group 4 together with IK Bolton Skanstull, Eskilstuna Guif IF, H43 Lund HF 2 P03, IK Sävehof 2, Åhus Handboll 2, Lödde Vikings HK 2, Ljunghusens HK, Karlskrona Handboll 1 and Trelleborg Handbollsklubb.

HK Aranäs 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 2 with 9-12. In the Final, IK Sävehof 2 won over Tyresö Handboll and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002.

HK Aranäs also participated in Pojkar 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Bolton 1 with 8-10.
