In addition to the two IFK Tumba teams, 27 other teams played in Flickor 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba HK 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Kristianstad, Bjärnums HK, Halmstad Handboll Chex on the Beach, Eslövs IK 1, Vassunda IF, Torslanda HK THK, H43 Lund HF, Alingsås HK 2 and Borlänge HK 2.

IFK Tumba HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby with 8-9. In the Final, Vassunda IF won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2001.

IFK Tumba HK also participated in Flickor 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 9-12.
