In addition to the three IFK Tumba teams, 59 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba HK 3 could be found in Group 6 together with AIK Handbollsförening, H 78 Sölvesborg, Tingsryds HK, Kävlinge HK 2, IFK Kristianstad 3, Finspångs HK, H43 Lund HF 03, IK Sävehof and Spånga HK Sol.

IFK Tumba HK 3 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 11-12. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby won over H43 Lund HF 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

IFK Tumba HK also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 3 with 9-12.
