In addition to Tyresö Handboll, 29 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Tyresö Handboll could be found in Group 3 together with HK Aranäs, Halmstad Handboll 3, H43 Lund HF 1 Vit, Åhus Handboll Röd2, Vinslövs HK, Uppsala HK 2, IK Bolton 2, OV Helsingborg HK and Mönsterås HK 1.

Tyresö Handboll continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 9-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 2 won over IK Sävehof Allstars and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

Tyresö Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the Semi final in P01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) with 8-9.
