In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 28 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with HK Aranäs, Halmstad Handboll 3, H43 Lund HF 1 Vit, Åhus Handboll Röd2, Vinslövs HK, Tyresö Handboll, IK Bolton 2, OV Helsingborg HK and Mönsterås HK 1.

Uppsala HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll Blå2 with 6-9. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 1 Vit won over HK Aranäs and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

Uppsala HK also participated in Pojkar 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Aranäs with 5-9.
