In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 19 other teams played in Herrar Junior 99-00. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with HF Kalundborg, IFK Kristianstad 1, IK Lågan Hörby, Kärra HF, H43 Lund HF Karinas änglar, IK Baltichov Sämre, Falu HK, IFK Tumba HK and HK Malmö.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Borlänge HK with 9-11. In the Final, Borlänge HK won over Lugi HF and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 99-00.

Uppsala HK also participated in Herrar Junior 98-00 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in H98-00 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Sävehof with 10-13.
