In addition to the four Uppsala teams, 76 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Eskilstuna Guif IF 2, Strömstad HK Svart, Åhus Handboll 1, Eslövs IK 1, Vinslövs HK 2, Växjö HF Svart, Tyresö Handboll 2, Halmstad Handboll Röd and H43 Lund HF 1.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against GF Kroppskultur with 9-11. In the Final, GF Kroppskultur won over Ronneby HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Uppsala HK also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK 1 with 5-6.
