In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Kävlinge HK 1, HK Malmö 1, IK Bolton 3, Önnereds HK, HK Aranäs 1, H43 Lund HF 4, KFUM Kalmar HK, Alingsås HK 1 and Huddinge HK 3.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 7 with 10-11. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Uppsala HK also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 4 with 12-14.
