In addition to the two Kävlinge teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Uppsala HK 1, HK Malmö 1, IK Bolton 3, Önnereds HK, HK Aranäs 1, H43 Lund HF 4, KFUM Kalmar HK, Alingsås HK 1 and Huddinge HK 3.

Kävlinge HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Redbergslids IK 2 with 7-11. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over Borlänge HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Kävlinge HK also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P04 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Bolton 1 with 8-12.
