Kävlinge HK was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with 25 teams in 14 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 34 categories. The team in Herrar Junior 99-00 made it to the the Final in B-Slutspeland won it over H43 Lund HF Karinas änglar by 10-9.
In addition to this, Kävlinge HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018, Kävlinge had 31 teams playing in 19 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 32 categories. Two teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; Flickor 2009 1 won over Åhus Handboll 2 by 8-5 but Senior Förening Damer 2 lost against Kävlinge HK 1 by 11-12. Kävlinge comes from Furulund which lies approximately 79 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Furulund does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: Vakant, Vitlökssås med allting på, Staffanstorps HK, H-town, Köbepågarna, Republik skrik, Gröna Vagnen, IFK T-Bar, Risifrutti and GW Landskrona HK).
