In addition to IFK Tumba HK, 20 other teams played in Herrar Junior 99-00. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba HK could be found in Group 2 together with HF Kalundborg, IFK Kristianstad 1, IK Lågan Hörby, Uppsala HK 1, Kärra HF, H43 Lund HF Karinas änglar, IK Baltichov Sämre, Falu HK and HK Malmö.

IFK Tumba HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Borlänge HK with 5-9. In the Final, Borlänge HK won over Lugi HF and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 99-00.
