SG Flensburg Handewitt 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Lugi HF with 8-10. In the Final, Lugi HF won over SG Flensburg Handewitt 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Elit Herr. SG Flensburg Handewitt also participated in Elit Herr during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
