In addition to the three Spånga teams, 59 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Spånga HK Grus could be found in Group 5 together with Spånga HK Hav, IFK Kristianstad 1, Sollentuna HK, Ystads IF HF Vit, Lödde Vikings HK, H43 Lund HF 2, Borlänge HK 3 and Önnereds HK.

Spånga HK Grus continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Back on Track Beachhandbolls Club with 7-12. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby won over H43 Lund HF 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

Spånga HK also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK with 9-10.
