In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Malmö HF Vit, Stavsten HK 1 Svart, KFUM Lundagård, Lödde Vikings HK 2, Borlänge HK, Kristianstad HK Orange, Växjö HF Svart, IFK Bankeryd 1 and Haninge HK 2.

Alingsås HK 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Eslövs IK EIK 2, which they won with 12-9. Thereby Alingsås HK 1 won the entire A-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
