In addition to the two Eslövs teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Eslövs IK EIK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Lugi HF 2, HF Karlskrona Lag 1, Önnereds HK 2, Tollarps IF 2, Uppsala HK 1, Hammarby IF HF Grön, Bjärnums HK, IFK Kristianstad 1 and Halmstad Handboll 3 Rosa.

Eslövs IK EIK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 1 with 10-11. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK EIK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006).
