In addition to the two Önnereds teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Önnereds HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Haninge HK 1, Falu HK, Kristianstad HK Svart, Halmstad Handboll 2 Svart, Lugi HF 1, Växjö HF Gul, Uppsala HK 2, Elvebyen HK and IFK Malmö HF Gul.

Önnereds HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK EIK 1 with 7-14. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK EIK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006).
