In addition to MÅSTE VILA, 47 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof MÅSTE VILA could be found in Group 5 together with Uppsala HK Packet, Broddins lärjungar Brodins Lärjungar, Herrklubben, Löpens Mannar, BATMAN, Skaunes Linguine and Real Lund.

MÅSTE VILA continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against X-Jägarna HK with 6-8. In the Final, ÅlisÄrInteSingel won over Helgardering and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

MÅSTE VILA originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around åhus does also provide 47 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022 (Among others: X-Jägarna HK, Lärjungarna, Tollarps IF, Taksäkerhet Syd, Beat the Crew, Füchse Åhus, Hjärna Hjärta P, Vinslövs HK, BATMAN and Moderaterna Kristianstad).
