BATMAN was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to BATMAN, 47 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof BATMAN could be found in Group 5 together with Uppsala HK Packet, Broddins lärjungar Brodins Lärjungar, Herrklubben, MÅSTE VILA, Löpens Mannar, Skaunes Linguine and Real Lund.

BATMAN continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Vakant HK with 8-11. In the Final, Södra Rörum won over Obmir kh and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

BATMAN comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 2 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 47 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022 (Among others: X-Jägarna HK, Lärjungarna, Tollarps IF, Taksäkerhet Syd, Beat the Crew, Füchse Åhus, Hjärna Hjärta P, Vinslövs HK, Moderaterna Kristianstad and Årets pr trick).
