In addition to the four Ystads teams, 49 other teams played in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2009). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 4 could be found in Group 1 together with H43 Lund HF 2, IFK Kristianstad Orange, Dalby GIF 2, HK Aranäs Blå, IFK Malmö HF Blå, IK Lågan Hörby 3, Eslövs HF Grön and HK Cliff.

Ystads IF HF 4 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Hammarby IF HF, which they won with 13-12. Thereby Ystads IF HF 4 won the entire A-Slutspel in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2009) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
