They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF could be found in Group 2 together with Ligu Dam, Chalmers HK 2, Sälens Fjällbotaniska Vänner, Vinslövs HK HK, IK Lågan Hörby, Åhus Handboll 2, HK Björnen 1, Stavsten HK and Ramunder HK.
Ystads IF HF made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Kristianstad HK, which they won with 11-10.
