In addition to the two Ystads teams, 34 other teams played in Pojkar 14 år (födda 2008). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 2 could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Kristianstad 1, Alingsås HK 1, Avesta Brovallen HF, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Malmö HF, H 78 Sölvesborg 1, Skuru IK 1 and H43 Lund HF.

Ystads IF HF 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK Svart with 10-11. Thereby Ystads IF HF 2 finished second in P14 (f. 2008) A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
