Gökstens BK was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with two teams in Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) and Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) made it to the the 1/4 Final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK by 10-11.

In addition to this, Gökstens BK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022, Gökstens had 4 teams playing in Flickor 14 år (födda 2008), Flickor 15 år (födda 2007) and Flickor 17 år (födda 2005) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år (födda 2005) made it to the the 1/4 Final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK by 6-9.

Gökstens comes from TORSHÄLLA which lies approximately 410 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around TORSHÄLLA does also provide three additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (BO-Laget, VästeråsIrsta HF and Eskilstuna Guif IF).
