VästeråsIrsta HF was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006) and Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) made it to the the Final in C-Slutspeland won it over IK Lågan Hörby by 11-10.

In addition to this, VästeråsIrsta HF have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022, VästeråsIrsta had 4 teams playing in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006), Pojkar 17 år (födda 2005), Flickor 16 år (födda 2006) and Flickor 17 år (födda 2005) respectively. The team in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006) made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF Svart by 9-11.

VästeråsIrsta comes from VÄSTERÅS which lies approximately 430 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around VÄSTERÅS does also provide three additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (BO-Laget, Gökstens BK and Eskilstuna Guif IF).
