In addition to VästeråsIrsta HF, 35 other teams played in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof VästeråsIrsta HF could be found in Group 2 together with Lugi HF 1, Åhus Handboll 2, IFK Malmö HF Blå, IFK Bankeryd P07, Spånga HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, Lödde Vikings HK and IK Sävehof.

VästeråsIrsta HF continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK BLÅ with 8-14. In the Final, OV Helsingborg HK won over Lugi HF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006).

VästeråsIrsta HF also participated in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the Semi final in P16 (f. 2006) A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF Svart with 9-11.
