In addition to the three Åhus teams, 33 other teams played in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Lugi HF 1, VästeråsIrsta HF, IFK Malmö HF Blå, IFK Bankeryd P07, Spånga HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, Lödde Vikings HK and IK Sävehof.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Malmö HF Gul with 10-11. In the Final, Vinslövs HK won over IFK Kristianstad 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006).

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in P16 (f. 2006) A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF Svart with 13-14.
