In addition to the three Åhus teams, 33 other teams played in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 3 could be found in Group 1 together with Lugi HF 2, IFK Malmö HF Gul, Eskilstuna Guif IF Röd, HF Karlskrona 2, OV Helsingborg HK, Kärra HF, Uppsala HK UHK P07 and IFK Bankeryd Vit.

Åhus Handboll 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 9-13. In the Final, OV Helsingborg HK won over Lugi HF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006).

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in P16 (f. 2006) A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF Svart with 13-14.
