Särökometernas HK was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with two teams in Flickor 12 år (födda 2011) and Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) respectively. The team in Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) made it to the the 1/16 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against HF Orust by 8-12.

In addition to this, Särökometernas HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022, Särökometernas had two teams playing in Flickor 15 år (födda 2007) and Flickor 17 år (födda 2005) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år (födda 2005) made it to the the 1/8 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 by 9-10.

Särökometernas comes from SÄRÖ which lies approximately 230 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around SÄRÖ does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: IK Sävehof, Göteborg Beach Handball Club, HK Bosse, Torslanda HK, HK Stolpskott, Kärra HF, Önnereds HK, Redbergslids IK, Wilma Thelandersson and HK Aranäs).
