Veberöds HK was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2010) and Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) respectively. The team in Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) made it to the the 1/8 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs IK F09 by 4-9.

In addition to this, Veberöds HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022, Veberöds had three teams playing in Pojkar 12 år (födda 2010) and Flickor 14 år (födda 2008) respectively. The team in Pojkar 12 år (födda 2010) made it to the the Final in B-Slutspeland won it over Lugi HF by 9-8.

Veberöds comes from VEBERÖD which lies approximately 61 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around VEBERÖD does also provide 68 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Sopis, Staffanstorps HK, HK Micro, HK Björnen, Byfånarna, Mammas pojkar, Bäst före detta, Powerheat Radio, Södra Rörum and Eslövs IK).
