They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Gulbrunabrudar could be found in Group 2 together with Handqueens, Kävlinge HK 1, Oompa Loompas, Svarta Fåren, Tollarps IF, Team van Stam, B-laget and Weekend warriors. Gulbrunabrudar continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Gott & blandat with 11-16. In the Final, Blixten McQueens won over Oompa Loompas and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Gulbrunabrudar comes from Växjö which lies approximately 110 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
