Weekend warriors was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Weekend warriors could be found in Group 2 together with Handqueens, Kävlinge HK 1, Oompa Loompas, Svarta Fåren, Tollarps IF, Team van Stam, Gulbrunabrudar and B-laget. Weekend warriors continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Shooting Stars with 10-17. In the Final, B-laget won over Svarta Fåren and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Weekend warriors originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
