In addition to the three Lugi teams, 33 other teams played in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Lugi HF 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Åhus Handboll 2, VästeråsIrsta HF, IFK Malmö HF Blå, IFK Bankeryd P07, Spånga HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, Lödde Vikings HK and IK Sävehof.
Lugi HF 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK with 11-13. Thereby Lugi HF 1 finished second in P17 (f. 2006) A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. Lugi HF also participated in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
