Marre BK was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Marre BK, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Marre BK could be found in Group 5 together with Gulgröna hjältar, Bolton Big Ballers 5, Goat fanboys, Rinkabyhult, Benestad United, Mammas pojkar MP and BATMAN.

Marre BK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vakant HK with 9-10. In the Final, Kärlekens boys won over SALOS DRÄPARE and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Marre comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 12 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 56 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Fräcka Falkarna 3, Byfånarna, Bäst före detta, Gott & blandat, MÅSTE VILA, IF Kristianstad, Ceimertz, Jaga FC, Avgå Alla and Ballingslöv).
