IFK Malmö HF was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with 28 teams in 14 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 40 categories. The team in Senior Förening Damer Classic made it to the the Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK 1 by 10-12.
In addition to this, IFK Malmö HF have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, IFK Malmö had 26 teams playing in 13 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 40 categories. The team in Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) made it to the the Final in B-Slutspeland won it over Åhus Handboll by 11-4. IFK Malmö comes from MALMÖ which lies approximately 92 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around MALMÖ does also provide 54 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: LVHK 03, Mellangården FC, Dalby, H43 Lund HF, KHF, B-laget, Dalby GIF, HK Svalöv, Lödde Vikings HK and KFUM Lundagård).
