Gulgröna hjältar ÖKH Classic

Gulgröna hjältar was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Gulgröna hjältar, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Gulgröna hjältar could be found in Group 7 together with Kaffekaga fc, Lödde Vikings HK LVHK Vit, Mårtens pågar, U-Laget, Böffes Juniorer, DreamSocks AB and BBB BK.

Gulgröna hjältar continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vakant HK with 8-11. In the Final, Dalby won over Roslagens Jullar and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Gulgröna hjältar comes from Bankeryd which lies approximately 220 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Bankeryd does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Team Grogg, BAS (Balkan All Stars), Gröngula hjältar, Habo HK, IFK Bankeryd, Claessons lärjungar, IF Hallby HK and HK Psyk).
