Vakant HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Vakant HK, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Vakant HK could be found in Group 9 together with K-Power, Raklev G&I, IFK Bankeryd Los Beddos, Team Grogg, Himos Pojkar, Bänksittargänget and ArgaSkånskaPågar.

Vakant HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Roslagens Jullar with 6-11. In the Final, Dalby won over Roslagens Jullar and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Vakant comes from Hör which lies approximately 59 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Hör does also provide 61 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: LVHK 03, Mellangården FC, Hot Mess, Dalby, H43 Lund HF, KHF, B-laget, Inget bäst-före-datum, Dalby GIF and HK Svalöv).
