Motståndarna was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

In addition to Motståndarna, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer Classic. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Motståndarna could be found in Group 1 together with Töserna, Alingsås HK 2, BAS (Balkan All Stars), Djurgården, Halmstad Handboll, Kävlinge HK ’s green flags and Team van Stam.

Motståndarna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Spånga Sandboll with 10-12. In the Final, Team van Stam won over Skandinaviska unionen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

Motståndarna comes from Köpingebro which lies approximately 58 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Köpingebro does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Mårtens pågar, ArgaSkånskaPågar, HK Björnen, Benestad United, Craft of Anderzson, IFK Ystad HK, Österlens IK, Tomelilla IF, Anderzson by Craft and Ystads IF HF).
