In addition to Halmstad Handboll, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer Classic. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll could be found in Group 1 together with Töserna, Alingsås HK 2, Motståndarna, BAS (Balkan All Stars), Djurgården, Kävlinge HK ’s green flags and Team van Stam.

Halmstad Handboll made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Djurgården, which they won with 13-8. Thereby Halmstad Handboll won the entire B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer Classic during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024.
