Gökstens BK was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with two teams in Flickor 16 år Classic (födda 2008) and Flickor 17 år Classic (födda 2007) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år Classic (födda 2007) made it to the the 1/8 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Kristianstad HK 1 by 9-14.

In addition to this, Gökstens BK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Gökstens had two teams playing in Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) and Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) made it to the the 1/4 Final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK by 10-11.

Gökstens comes from TORSHÄLLA which lies approximately 410 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around TORSHÄLLA does also provide four additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Västerås Slitna HF, VästeråsIrsta HF, Eskilstuna Guif IF and HK Eskil).
