Hökarna was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

In addition to Hökarna, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer Classic. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Hökarna could be found in Group 3 together with Temp OH, Skandinaviska unionen, Spånga Sandboll, Hultas flickor, Kävlinge HK ’s red flags, Kosläpp and Näsby F01.

Hökarna continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK ’s green flags with 7-11. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll won over Djurgården and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

Hökarna comes from Halmstad which lies approximately 120 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Halmstad does also provide three additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (DansaMed HK, Halmstad Handboll and Halmstad).
