Quicksand was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Quicksand, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Quicksand could be found in Group 1 together with Josagrogg Originals, TSV Bonn rrh., Gröngula hjältar, MARRE BK, Unathletico Madrid, Lödde Vikings HK LVHK Röd and Bolton Big Ballers.

Quicksand continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Bänksittargänget with 8-9. In the Final, Dalby won over Roslagens Jullar and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Quicksand comes from Staffanstorp which lies approximately 76 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Staffanstorp does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: LVHK 03, HK Björnen, Mellangården FC, Hot Mess, Dalby, H43 Lund HF, KHF, B-laget, Dalby GIF and HK Svalöv).
