In addition to IFK Ystad HK, 15 other teams played in Herrar Junior 19-20 år Classic (födda 2004-2005). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IFK Ystad HK could be found in Group 2 together with Växjö HF, Uppsala HK 2, Halmstad Handboll Två, Halmstad Handboll Viva La Vida, HK Malmö, Alingsås HK and Vinslövs HK 1.

IFK Ystad HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Täby HBK with 9-10. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll Kungarna av Tylösand won over Uppsala HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 19-20 år Classic (födda 2004-2005).
