IFK Ystad HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with 12 teams in 8 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 40 categories. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in A-Slutspel; Pojkar 14 år Classic (födda 2010) lost against IFK Tumba HK 2 P10 by 12-14 and Herrar Junior 19-20 år Classic (födda 2004-2005) lost against Täby HBK by 9-10.
In addition to this, IFK Ystad HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, IFK Ystad had 7 teams playing in Pojkar 9 år (födda 2014), Pojkar 13 år (födda 2010), Pojkar 18 år (födda 2005), Flickor 12 år (födda 2011) and Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) respectively. The team in Pojkar 18 år (födda 2005) made it to the the Final in A-Slutspeland won it over HK Malmö by 11-9. IFK Ystad comes from YSTAD which lies approximately 64 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around YSTAD does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Mårtens pågar, ArgaSkånskaPågar, HK Björnen, Benestad United, Motståndarna, Craft of Anderzson, Österlens IK, Tomelilla IF, Anderzson by Craft and Ystads IF HF).
